Youth Opportunities - Employment - House of Commons

The objective of the House of Commons Administration’s Student Employment Program is to provide fulfilling and rewarding employment opportunities to young, aspiring professionals who are in high school, CEGEP, college, or university.

If you dream of joining an organization that is small enough for you to be noticed and can offer a meaningful experience, then we want to hear from you!

Students who are actively seeking employment are invited to apply to the Student Employment Program online at any time.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Students are required to provide proof of enrollment during the hiring process.

Fluency in both official languages (English and French) may be required for certain positions.

CO-OP opportunities

Students enrolled in a post-secondary cooperative (CO-OP) education program are also invited to apply now**. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

**CO-OP students work in their field of study on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). Work placements are for approximately 16 weeks and take place during the winter (January to April), summer (May to August) and fall (September to December) employment periods.

Fluency in both official languages (English and French) may be required for certain positions.
